Norma Jean Lutz’s Novel Based on the Tulsa Race Riot Now Set for Re-release

Press Release announcing re-release of Tulsa Tempest!

Be A Novelist

May 31, 1921, marked a tragic day in American history.  What was to become the most devastating race riot in our nation ever, was about to begin. The rioting, looting, burning and killing went on for over 18 long hours.  When it was over the second largest black community in the state was in ashes.

I authored a series of four novels based on this historical event:

  • Tulsa Tempest
  • Tulsa Turning
  • Tulsa Trespass
  • Return to Tulsa

The series was first published by a pillar in the Christian publishing community, Barbour Publishing.  In the past few years, I have been seeking to have all rights reverted to me, because I knew an entirely new audience was waiting to read these titles. I am excited to report, that has now come to pass.

The first title in the series is slated to be available for e-readers June, 2012.  If you would like to be updated on the exact release date (and the re-releases of other Norma Jean Lutz classics) click HERE.

Thanks for rejoicing with me in this new chapter in my writing career!  (Can you tell I’m pumped!?!)
